Who We Are

Hi, I’m Bella — the face behind The Social Anchorage.

With 10+ years experience across event management, content creation, social media, hospitality and administration, I’ve built a career around communication, organisation and connecting with people.

I’ve worked across a wide range of industries including events, hospitality, civil construction and marine services, giving me a practical understanding of how different businesses operate — and how important clear, consistent communication really is.

The Social Anchorage was created to offer straightforward social media support for small businesses. No overcomplicated strategies or marketing jargon — just thoughtful content, genuine communication and one less thing for business owners to worry about.

I’m approachable, organised, creative and easy to work with, and I genuinely enjoy helping good businesses show up confidently online.

Outside of work, I’m a mum of one, step mum of two, partner to a busy business bloke, and happiest when I’m boating, in the garden, sharing a wine with friends or enjoying a good social gathering.

How does it work?

  1. Let’s catch up

We start with a coffee (or wine, whatever works!) and chat about your business, your goals and what sort of support you’re looking for. We’ll go through package options and find out what feels right for you.

  2. I get to know your business

The best content comes from understanding the people behind the business. I take the time to learn about you, your team, your customers and how you like to communicate.

  3. Content creation begins

From there, I start creating thoughtful, straightforward content that reflects your business naturally online. We can work with your photos/videos/content or I can come to you for ‘content days’. If you lock in a program with me, I will include 1 hour of content creation to get us started.

  4. Monthly Management

Your content is scheduled and managed throughout the month to keep your business active and visible online - you don’t have to stress at all.

  5. Monthly check-in

At the end of each month, I’ll send you a simple progress update and check in about upcoming ideas, promotions or content opportunities.

  6. Easy invoicing

A monthly invoice is sent at the end of each cycle, keeping everything straightforward and easy to manage.

Content Days
$100 per hour

Some businesses already have plenty of photos and videos ready to go — others prefer me to come to them and capture content in person.

Content days are relaxed, on-site sessions where I visit your business to:

  • capture photos and video content

  • film reels

  • showcase products, services or spaces

  • get to know your team and business personality

  • gather natural, authentic content for upcoming posts

These sessions help create content that actually feels like your business — not overly polished or staged

This includes:

  • travel within the local area

  • content capture

  • creative direction

  • basic editing and organisation of content for social use
